News on Streatham Wells LTN

From Monday 21st November, we will be asking for peoples’ feedback on our proposals which would stop through traffic, improve air quality, and encourage more walking, cycling, wheeling and scooting. Our vision is to transform local streets, so they have more greenery, are more pleasant and are no longer dominated by cars and vans using them as shortcuts.

The changes proposed include:

- Traffic filters to prevent through traffic

- New trees and plants which will reduce flooding and give shade during extreme heat

- Cycle parking

- Space for children to play and people to sit

There will be a survey on this website running for five weeks, until Friday 23rd December. We look forward to hearing your thoughts!
